Man found shot to death in Edgecombe County
EDGECOMBE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Authorities in Edgecombe County are investigating a man's death after he was found fatally shot inside a vehicle Thursday night.
The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office received a call around 10:30 p.m. about shots being fired at the Country Estates Mobile Home Park on Wave Lane in Battleboro.
When authorities arrived, they found a vehicle in a ditch in the 900 block of Wave Lane.
Inside the vehicle was 27-year-old Quentin Darnell Allen of 909 Wave Lane. He had died from gunshot wounds.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.

On Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 10:30 PM the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding shots fired at Wave Lane, Country Estates Mobile Home Park, Battleboro. Upon arrival on the scene, officers located a vehicle in the ditch at 904 Wave Lane. Inside the vehicle officers found gunshot victim, Quentin Darnell Allen, B/M, DOB 1/16/1988 of 909 Wave Lane, deceased.
The investigation is continuing at this time.
