MELVILLE -- Authorities are trying to find whoever left a 3-foot-long crocodile in a Melville, New York parking lot.
The animal was turned over to the SPCA.
Chief Roy Gross of the Suffolk SPCA said an anonymous call led officials to the crocodile in a box.
The crocodile was described as very aggressive and its mouth had to be taped shut. Experts estimate it's about 3 years old.
