CLAYTON, NC (WTVD) -- Police have charged a Clayton man with running a meth lab.

Brian Michael Hoeger, 24, of the 200 block of Johnson Drive, is charged with eight felony drug and firearms charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine.

Investigators said a search of Hoeger's home turned up materials used to make meth, stolen firearms, pills, and marijuana.

The Johnston County Sheriff's Office and the SBI helped take apart the meth lab and deal with the dangerous chemicals.
