Missing 95-year-old found dead

HALIFAX, NC (WTVD) -- The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says a 95-year-old man who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found dead.

Nelson Person Sr's body was found next to his Ford pickup truck along NC Highway 48 at Sledge Road south of Littleton.

Deputies said there were no signs of foul play.
