One person hurt in Smithfield home fire

SMITHFIELD, NC (WTVD) -- One person suffered burns Friday when a mobile home caught fire at the Stallings Mobile Home Park in the 23-hundred block of Business US 70 - east of I-95.

It happened around 2:30 p.m.

When Smithfield, Pine Level, and Selma firefighters arrived, they found the home fully engulfed in flames.

A man in the home was taken to Johnston Health with minor burns.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The home was destroyed.
