1 killed, 3 injured in Moore County crash

MOORE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Moore County that left one person dead and three others hurt.

The crash happened Friday evening on Union Church Road at Smith Hill Road.

The Highway Patrol said a pickup appeared to have tried to make a U-turn and was struck by a landscaping truck.

Three people in the landscaping truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
