Cary police investigate hit and run

CARY, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Cary police are searching for a driver that was reportedly involved in a hit and run Saturday night.

Around 6:50 p.m. police were called to 10708 Penny Road on reports of a hit and run.

When officers arrived they found that Douglas Porter was driving his moped in the area when he was struck.

Porter was taken to the hospital and the incident remains under investigation.
