Man found dead in Franklin County

YOUNGSVILLE, NC (WTVD) -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office, along with authorities from Vance County, is investigating the discovery of a body in the 5800 block of US 401 North in the Youngsville area.

The dead man's name was not released pending notification of next of kin.

The sheriff's office said the search for the man - a missing person from Vance County - started Monday. He was found Tuesday.

Deputies did not say if they had any suspects.
