Fayetteville man charged in 2015 sexual assault

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department's Special Victim's Unit have arrested Andrew Patrick McKenney, 31, of the 3100 block of Lady Cheryl Drive, in reference to a sexual incident involving a 20-year-old woman that occurred June 4 at a residence in the area of Lady Cheryl Drive and Pamalee Drive.

McKenney was charged with second-degree rape, two counts of second degree sex offense, and false imprisonment. McKenney was processed at the Cumberland County Detention Facility where he remains on $500,000.00 secured bond.
