5-year-old pulled from Raleigh pool has died

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police say a 5-year-old pulled from a pool Sunday evening has died.

The incident happened around 6:20 p.m. in the 11000 block of Beckstone Way.

The girl was taken to WakeMed. Raleigh police reported Monday morning the child has passed away.

Police have not released the girl's name. No foul play is suspected.

Authorities said an investigation into how it happened continues.
