NOGALES, Ariz. -- An Arizona man was caught trying to smuggle methamphetamine across the border - in packages of hollowed-out tortillas.



A Customs and Border Protection narcotics detection K-9 sniffed out the drugs on Friday along the Morley Pedestrian Crossing at the Port of Nogales.



Officers arrested the 62-year-old man, who is from Nogales. There were 3 pounds of meth stashed inside the tortillas, investigators said.



Authorities turned the man over to U.S. Immigration and customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
