SC authorities investigate death of 41-year-old woman from Nash Co.

MIDDLESEX, N.C. -- An investigation is ongoing in South Carolina after a Nash County native's body was found in a wooded area in Myrtle Beach.

The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Jennifer Fitchett, who is originally from Middlesex, NC.

There's currently no information on whether Fitchett was killed in SC or killed elsewhere and her body brought to Myrtle Beach.
