FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A former Fayetteville youth basketball coach already facing multiple sex charges has been slapped with 55 additional counts of sex offenses involving a juvenile.
The Fayetteville Police Department said the new charges were filed against Rodney Scott after yet another victim came forward.
Scott was arrested May 2 by Fayetteville police on a single sex offense charge involving a juvenile.
Since then, multiple victims have come forward.
In Thursday's development, detectives with the FPD's Youth Services Unit learned that a victim, who was 13 years old at the time, was allegedly assaulted by Scott between March 2014 and December 2014.
Detectives obtained warrants charging Scott with 11 counts of statutory sex offense, 11 counts of sexual activity by a substitute parent, 11 counts of indecent liberties with a child, 11 counts of child abuse by sexual act, and 11 counts of crimes against nature.
FPD detectives served the additional 55 warrants on Scott at the Cumberland County Detention Center where he has remained since his arrest.
Scott's bond was increased to $11,800,000 secured.
Detectives have been inundated with phone calls after the arrest of the former assistant basketball coach at Pine Forest High School and AAU coach.
