Fayetteville mobile home caught fire early Sunday

A fire broke out early this morning in a Fayetteville mobile home park.

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville fire department responded to a mobile home fire early Sunday morning.

The fire was reported just before 4 a.m. at 6348 Rebecca Drive, in the Lafayette Lone Pine Mobile Home Park.

Authorities said the home was engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene. Firefighters were able to contain the flames.

Members of the family were able to safely escape and no injuries have been reported.

Officials said the home experienced heavy fire damage. No other homes in the area were affected.
