I-440 East has reopened to traffic

I-440 East has reopened to traffic.

Multiple vehicle collisions Saturday evening shut down part of I-440 East, closing eastbound lanes between Wake Forest Road and Capital Boulevard.

It happened just after 9 p.m.

No one was injured.

Traffic was diverted onto Wake Forest Road.
