FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's office needs help identifying three men who broke into an elementary school right before Christmas.
On Dec. 21, police say three young men broke into Cumberland Mills Elementary School, located at 2576 Hope Mills Road in Fayetteville.
The three unknown suspects damaged school property in three separate buildings on school grounds. Deputies responded to the call and saw the men fleeing the scene.
Police watched the three men run toward Cumberland Road from the back of the school. The deputies lost sight of the suspects around Cumberland Towers Apartments near Cumberland Bay Drive.
Authorities describe the first suspect as a white male in camouflage pants and gray hooded sweatshirt with "WVU" on the front. The second is described as a black male wearing a Chicago Bulls toboggan and gray hooded sweatshirt with red writing. The third is a man of unknown race wearing a gray shirt and black toboggan with white strings.
The suspects were caught on school surveillance cameras both inside and outside of the school.
