Disney's Newsies opens at DPAC

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Disney's Newsies makes an encore return to the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Based on true events, Newsies tells the story of a band of underdogs who become unlikely heroes when they take on the most powerful men in New York. The show is filled with one heart-pounding number after another.

Newsies will play at DPAC Wednesday, August 16 through Sunday, August 21.
