Driver faces charges after crashing head-on into Raleigh police car

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A driver is now facing charges after crashing head-on into a Raleigh police car overnight Sunday officers said.

Eyewitness News learned the crash happened just before midnight Saturday on Carolina Pines Avenue near Granite Street. A police officer was inside the car at the time, but thankfully, no one was injured.

The driver has been charged with a DWI, and the incident remains under investigation.
