25-year-old charged in connection with Raleigh crash, shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Seven months after someone fired shots at a car and a home the Wake County Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged a 25-year-old in connection with the crime.

Kenneth Kamal Peebles is charged with 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon and other charges for the shooting on Yakimas Road.

Police found a vehicle crashed into a mailbox that evening and bullet holes on the outside of a nearby home.

No one was in the car and no one in the home was hurt.

Two other people, a 19-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were arrested and charged a week later.

The sheriff's office says their investigation continues.
