Man dead after shooting at Fayetteville home, police say

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man is dead following a shooting Saturday morning in Fayetteville.

Police say officers were called to a home in the 600 block of Berwick Drive around 2:45 a.m. When crews arrived, they found one man inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Authorities say this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public at this time.
