Police investigate death in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found on the side of a road Wednesday morning.

The body of a 51-year-old male was found along South Wilmington Street at Tryon Road.

About a dozen police and CCBI vehicles were on the scene and the area was marked off with yellow crime tape.

The victim's name has not been released pending notification of family members.
