CONROE, TX -- The intercom at San Jacinto Elementary calmly asked for all staff to report to the front of the school Friday after the kids got out.
It wasn't for a meeting. All the faculty, staff and administrators scurried outside to give a Christmas gift to one of their most beloved coworkers.
Cafeteria Manager Betty Wilson was left breathless by the surprise that awaited her outside - her coworkers singing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and her new car.
"I never expected this - never in a million years," Wilson said. "I know I'm blessed to be here. The child nutrition staff is fantastic; the staff at this school is amazing.
