PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- A Florida teenager died after a hole he dug in the sand collapsed on him while on vacation.
Deputies say beach-goers noticed the feet of 17-year-old Travor Brown sticking out from the sand.
Emergency responders say it's unclear how long he did not have oxygen.
He later died at the hospital.
Experts say digging deep holes can trigger the surrounding walls of sand to shift and give way, swallowing whatever lies in its gap.
