Hatteras fishermen reel in 13-foot hammerhead shark

AVON, N.C. -- Talk about a 'catch of the day'.

Fishermen on Hatteras Island reeled in this 13 foot hammerhead shark.

A photographer snapped this photo of the ocean predator with the cheering fishermen.

Due to its size it is likely the largest ever caught on the island.

After the photo op, the anglers released the hammerhead back to the water.
