INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTVD) -- On the eve of the NCAA Championship game Duke fans are feeling confident in their chance to take home a 5th title win.
The Blue Devils blew past Michigan State Saturday night in the Final Four, just as fans predicted.
"I knew that they were going to win," said Duke fan Jason Spurgin.
"It wasn't really a game. We just clobbered them!" said Duke fan Shane Holland.
Indianapolis may just be Duke's good luck charm. The Blue Devils have won two NCAA titles there.
Duke alumnus Mandeep Dhillon was in Indiana when the team won its first championship in 1991.
"Back then it was the early part of Coach K's career, and we were just excited for the chance to win," Dhillon reminisced.
Fans say the Blue Devils can do it again.
"I'm very confident. I think we're going to pull it out," predicted Matt Montoya, who traveled from Washington to see the game.
"It's going to be back and forth all night long, but I gotta go with Duke," said Spurgin.
With tipoff fast approaching, there is no time for fans to take off their game faces.
Tipoff is set for 9:18 p.m. Monday.
