FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that a former Glendale Acres Elementary School teacher has been arrested on drug charges for a second time.

Stacey Rademacher Kolmodin, 31, was taken into custody Tuesday night on a long list of charges.

Kolmodin was relieved of her duties as an elementary school teacher in April when a school official allegedly found her snorting a powdery substance while at work and sitting at her desk. No children were present at the time, as all were on break from her first-grade classroom.

Deputies said they found Kolmodin had been "doctor shopping" to get Percocet from at least two physicians and she was charged then with four counts of felony trafficking opiates and two counts of obtaining a controlled substance by prescription misrepresentation.

Kolmodin now faces new charges after she allegedly swapped out Tylenol with codeine liquid from a bottle prescribed for a child she was babysitting with something else. The child then had an allergic reaction to the fake medication and had to be hospitalized.

Kolmodin, of Hope Mills, is now also charged with misdemeanor larceny, trafficking opiates, creating a counterfeit controlled substance, and misdemeanor child abuse.

Bond was set at $31,000.

Kolmodin allegedly told deputies she became addicted to pain-killers while recovering from surgery.
