Man dies after crashing into construction site in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man died in a violent crash in Raleigh late Thursday night.

Police say the single-vehicle fatality happened on Town Drive at Triangle Town Blvd. where the driver crashed into a construction site.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at 11:39 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The intersection was temporarily closed.
