Train hits unoccupied Durham patrol car; no officers injured

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham Police Department is investigating after a train hit an unoccupied patrol car Thursday morning.

The incident happened before 5:30 a.m. on Neal Road near American Drive.

Police said no officers were injured.

No word if anyone on the train was hurt or why the car was on the tracks.
