Wayne County man facing sex assault charges involving minor

WAYNE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Authorities in Wayne County have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault involving a 15-year-old girl.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a report that the assault was an ongoing occurrence for the past two years.

Details surrounding the incidents have not been released.

Authorities arrested Mauricio Alfredo Castillio Garcia at this home Sunday and charged him with statutory sex offense.

He is currently being held at the Wayne County Jail under a $300,000 bond.
