Wake County, teacher may reach agreement

There is word a controversial Wake County teacher may have reached a tentative agreement with school leaders Monday.

Robert Escamilla sued the school board months ago. He wanted his old job back at Enloe High School and back pay.

Administrators transferred Escamilla last year, after he invited a guest speaker who denounced Islam.

Sources say the new agreement could lead to an out of court settlement, but there is a second lawsuit pending.

Escamilla plans to sue Wake County schools for releasing his personnel record.
