Robert Young, 85, was killed.
The first vehicle then hit a second car with a young woman inside. That woman and Young's wife were both taken to the hospital.
The driver who allegedly ran the red light was not hurt. Police have identified her as 57-year-old Dianne Murphy. No charges have yet been filed.
