The alarm in the building was initially set off by Freon released by a crew working on the air conditioning on one floor.
At the same time, completely by coincidence, a burning odor was reported. That turned out to be a totally unrelated situation with a loose belt on an air conditioning system on a different floor.
The building was evacuated in an orderly fashion. Everything is fine now.
