UNC team, fans prep for Final Four

CHAPEL HILL The Tar Heels earned a spot in the Final Four on Sunday.

UNC is a favorite to claim their fifth national championship title as they make a record 18th Final Four appearance.

"I told our guys in the locker rooms somebody is going to win and why not let it be us," Coach Roy Williams said.

Williams talked up the big game on Monday's Roy William's Live, his weekly sports radio talk show.

"We do feel good we feel confident in what we are doing," Williams said.

And two-time All American Player Tyler Hansbrough got in on the action, taking questions about his repeat trip to the Final Four.

"I'm glad we made it back this year because I feel like there is some pressure but it is well worth it and we'll see what happens," Hansbrough said.

The team will travel to Detroit to face off with Villanova in the Final Four on Saturday. And some Tar Heel fans are making the trip too.

"I'm so excited that we're going to the final four," UNC fan Lauren Schultes said. "I'm taking a road trip up to Detroit."

Those that are not making the trip plan to cheer on their team to the championship from Carolina Country.

"I won't be going up to Detroit sadly, but ill def be watching with my friends on Franklin and partying afterwards," UNC fan CaitlIn Pardue said.
