Police identify woman killed in fire

GARNER Officials say one unit at the Greenbrier Apartments on Spring Drive caught fire around 6 a.m. Friday. Authorities are releasing little information at this time.

However, they have confirmed that 51-year-old Sarah Alforda was killed in the fire. She lived in the second floor unit.

Fire officials say Alforda's unit was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Another unit received smoke damage.
