Rocky Mount Police tell Eyewitness News that an argument involving several people broke out and three people were shot during the altercation.
One person was taken to Pitt Memorial Hospital with serious injuries; the other two were taken to Nash General Hospital. None of the injured has been identified nor is it known the extent of their injuries at this time.
Police say the shooter is still on the loose.
