Sophomore brings drugs to school

CUMBERLAND COUNTY Authorities say E.E. Smith High School sophomore 16-year-old Kenneth Jerome Hobbs was taken in to custody around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators say the school's principal received a report that items were being stolen from a locker room and when he went to investigate, Hobbs was observed in the area and was searched.

Four bags of marijuana and $64 were found in Hobb's possession. He is charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

No bond or court date information is available at this time.
