The truck hit a curb and slammed into several trees before landing in someone's yard.
Police say the injured driver left the scene on foot but officers arrested him a few blocks away. He was taken to the hospital in handcuffs, but his condition is not known.
Police did not say why the man fled the scene or what charges he is facing.
