Duke student robbed at gunpoint

DURHAM According to the student, who also reported the crime, it happened around 11 p.m. near the service drive that leads to the rear of the East Campus Union.

The student, whose identity was not released, was allegedly approached by three suspects. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the student and then removed personal items from the student's pockets.

Police say the suspects then forced the victim to lie on the ground and then ran away from the scene toward Buchanan St.
