At 11:11 a.m., authorities received a 911 call reporting a body was found in the 1400 Block of Richardson Road.
Detectives arrived and quickly cordoned off the area.
Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed patrol cars blocking the road in about a quarter mile in each direction and detectives standing over a body under a white sheet on the shoulder of the road.
Investigators say the body was located in close proximity to where 51 year-old Sherry Tonia Clark disappeared from a residence on Sunday, September 6.
Investigators say an autopsy will be performed on the body to determine a cause of death. No foul play is suspected.
