The victim later identified as 16-year-old Oscar Lorenzo Perez suffered wounds to his chest.
He was transported to Central Carolina Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Perez was found to have shards of glass in his chest.
Police said Perez, along with two 14-year-olds and 17-year-old Antonio Ramiro Jaimes broke into a home located on San Lee Drive in Lee County.
Authorities said they believed Perez suffered his injuries while exiting the home through a broken window.
Jaimes and the two juveniles are in custody for breaking and entering.
