Crash, construction cause delays

WAKE COUNTY The left lane of I-40 at Harrison Avenue in Cary was already closed for road work, when the right-hand lanes were forced into a standstill around 10 p.m.

Authorities said a tractor trailer and a sedan collided, but it is not known how it happened.

Further details about the accident have not been released.
