Police investigating suspicious 911 call

RALEIGH Several police cars and emergency crews were called to the 500 block of Fayetteville Street about a shooting.

That is near the Marriot Hotel, however, officials say there were no evacuations inside the hotel.

Police are not releasing any details about their investigation only that they are unsure where the call came from and there is an investigation underway to determine "the facts concerning the call."
