Child struck near school bus in Durham

DURHAM It happened just before 7 a.m. at a school bus stop on North Elizabeth Street and Liberty Street. The girl was attempting to get on school bus 294 when she was struck.

Witnesses say she was treated at the scene for what appeared to be minor injuries.

Further details about the incident have not been released.
