Cumberland County sheriff's detectives arrested 21-year-old Christopher Michael Williamson Wednesday. He is charged with second-degree arson.
Arson investigators say Williamson set fire to an abandoned home early Wednesday using a cigarette lighter to ignite a pile of leaves. Shortly after that, firefighters were called to Williamson's address after he set a section of grass on fire in front of his own home.
He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $25,000 bond and will make a first court appearance on Thursday.
