"One of my favorites, you can go to the Reynolda House in Winston-Salem. For $139 a couple, you get tickets to go see the Reynolda House. They have a special exhibit going on there," offered Wit Tuttell with the NC Division of Tourism.
Or, if you're not so artsy.
"You can do Mount Airy and do the Mayberry tour," said Tuttell. "You get to stay there in the Hampton Inn and you get to do the tour in the squad car just like Andy and Opi."
Or if golf is your thing, this is your weekend.
"You'll find a lot of deals. You can find them on the coast you can also find them in the mountains. If you want to play some Pinehurst area, Golf Aberdeen has some great specials at Legacy Golf in Aberdeen," said Tuttell.
And the mountains are always a big draw in North Carolina.
"Up in the mountains is the White Squirrel Festival this weekend in Brevard," said Tuttell.
