Teen killed, another injured in wreck

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Police say Ronald Leith Williams, 16, of the 2800 block of Attorney Drive, was driving a vehicle northeast on Lakewood Road toward Fisher Road at around 1:28 a.m., when he lost control, ran off the right side of the road, and overturned.

Williams, a varsity basketball player and student at Jack Britt High School, was critically injured, and died at the scene.

His passenger, Mytrez Marsh, 15, also of Attorney Drive, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. His condition has not been released.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
