Child pulled from hotel pool dies

DURHAM Authorities say 3-year-old Hakeem Abdul Salaam Jr. of Durham was found in the pool at the Days Inn at 3460 Hillsborough Road Thursday evening.

He later died on Saturday at Duke University Hospital.

Durham police investigators say they do not anticipate filing charges at this time.
