Suspects leads police on multi-city chase

Raleigh police arrested a driver early Friday morning after they lead several officers on a chase for miles.

Raleigh police arrested four people early Friday morning after they lead several officers on a chase for miles.It started just before 2 a.m. in Raleigh and ended on Dwight Rowland Road off Highway 401 in Fuquay-Varina.

Authorities say the suspects robbed a man outside the VIP Nightclub, but have not released their identities.

When the chase finally ended, police from Raleigh, Garner and Fuquay-Varina, along with Wake County sheriff deputies surrounded the white car, quickly handcuffed the driver and three others and put them into a cruiser.

Afterwards, other officers and a police dog searched two areas off 401 for items that was tossed out of the vehicle during the chase.
