Police: Men rob same victims 3 times

CUMBERLAND COUNTY The suspects, 29-year-old Jeremy Wade Marson of Denham Springs, Louisiana and 33-year-old William David McGee of Hope Mills, were arrested on Wednesday morning.

Investigators say Marson and McGee broke in a home on the 4000 block of NC Highway 87 in Fayetteville on Sunday and Monday.

On Sunday, the pair entered the home through the front door with two women and stole a TV and a .22 caliber rifle. They also took a Yamaha dirt bike and a pool motor from the backyard of the residence.

The following day, Marson and McGee returned to the home and stole a 1987 Chevrolet vehicle and took it to a salvage shop to sell the vehicle for $336.

On Tuesday, Marson and McGee robbed another home in the 700 block of Fernwood Drive in Clayton. Authorities say they stole two Kawasaki Jet skis and a Jet Ski trailer valued at over $1,000.

The next day, detectives found the stolen items at McGee's home.

Marson and McGee are being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $31,000 secured bond.

They face multiple charges including possession of a firearm by felon, breaking and entering of a residence, larceny after breaking and entering of a residence, conspiracy to commit a felony, felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony possession of stolen goods.

Meanwhile, Marson was convicted of a felony theft last year and sentenced to the Louisiana Department of Corrections for 10 years.

McGee is also charged with felony theft in 2009 and was convicted of his crime last week. He was sentenced to three years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections.
