One arrested in Durham shooting

DURHAM Jarell Montez Walker, 18, and Antwan Le'Mott Teasley, 18, are charged with shooting a 33-year-old man in 1100 block of Moreland Avenue on June 30.

Teasley was arrested Monday night.

Authorities say the victim was sitting on a porch when he was shot in the leg.

Both men are charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Walker is also charged with shooting and robbing a 27-year-old man on July 6 behind the University Mart at 1108 West Chapel Hill Street.

The victim told officers that two men approached him, demanded money at gunpoint and took cash from him. The victim was shot in the leg as he ran from the scene.

Walker is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and second-degree kidnapping.
